$3m BRIBERY SCANDAL: Reps remove Farouk Lawan, Emenalo
Abuja – The House of Representatives has removed Rep. Farouk Lawan (PDP-Kano) as Chairman the House Ad hoc Committee on fuel subsidy regime over alleged 620,000 dollars bribe. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Mr Boniface Emenalo, the Secretary of Committee was also removed. NAN recalls that Mr Femi Otedola, Chairman of Zenon Petroleum and Gas Ltd., alleged that Lawan and Emenalo collected 620,000 dollars as bribe from him. The House also suspended Lawan as the Chairman of the Committee on Education pending the outcome of the investigation....
