Breaking News!!! $3m bribery scandal: Reps remove, Lawan, Emenalo
The House of Representatives has removed Farouk Lawan, representing the Peoples Democracy Party (PDP), Kano, as the Chairman of the House Ad-hoc Committee on fuel subsidy over the alleged $620,000 bribe. According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the Secretary of the Ad-hoc Committee, Boniface Emenalo, was also removed. It could be recalled that the billionaire oil magnate, Femi Otedola, Chairman of Zenon Petroleum and Gas Ltd., had alleged that Lawan and Emenalo collected $620,000 as bribe from him.
