IMF Executive Board Approves New US$ 156.2 Million Extended Credit Facility Arrangement for Malawi
LILONGWE, Malawi, July 24, 2012/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) today approved a new three-year arrangement for Malawi under the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) in an amount equivalent to SDR 104.1 million (about US$ 156.2 million). The Board's decision will enable an immediate disbursement equivalent to SDR 13.02 million (about US$ 19.5 million).
