Knocks and condemnations have begun to trail the failure of Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State to honour the winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, the late MKO Abiola and his refusal to acknowledge and observe June 12 as a special day in Nigeria’s history of democracy.
